Mel (she/her) is a photographer based in Hanover, Germany, working across the country and occasionally beyond. Her focus lies on fashion, editorial, commercial and portrait photography, with event and wedding work on the side.

She's Turkish-German, and photography kind of runs in the family. Her grandfather was a photographer before he had to give it up after moving to Germany. She picked up a camera for the first time in 2015, went self-employed in 2019, and has been at it ever since.

With a background in Visual Communications studies, she moves between styles depending on what a project needs: sometimes clean and commercial, sometimes more experimental and mixed media.
